Rubber Insulated Bogs Boots – Lands End, Oaki Wear also make this type of boot.

• Croc or other slip on shoe for extra in case boots get wet

• Backpack with a chest strap that is large enough to hold a change of clothes, lunchbox, and water bottle.

• Insulated lunch box and thermos – we will not provide milk

• Water Bottle - non leak and able to be opened independently by kiddo

• Nap mat (example here) and a 1 inch Kindermat

• Rain/Snow bibs (We recommend kiddos wear these everyday from Fall to Spring, with layers underneath for winter)

• Golf type towel with grommet to hook on outside of backpack

• Insulated winter coat with a waterproof shell - waterproof(different than water resistant) shell can be used in Fall and Spring with layers underneath

• Wool and fleece layers ( no cotton layers in the winter)

• Ex. Wool or polyester base layer, and fleece jacket

• Balaclava - this is the item that will keep kids the coziest

• Waterproof mittens

• Tea Cup - slap a fun sticker on it so we know it’s yours!

• Carabiners for toting stuff on the backpack

• Purchasing clothes in the funkiest colors will help us keep track of them better

• Any clothes sent on or with a child should be permanent play clothes, able to get wet and stained.  Keeping a couple of sets of play clothes and sending kids only in those is best practice and will save you a lot of money!

• Using an IKEA or Home Goods large bag to tote items back and forth between home and school
